The mech hanger set up on this Cipollini RB1K wasn't too great. No cross sectional strength and an unnecessary third mounting point made it quite weak hence the carbon failing instead of the sacrificial mech hanger.
We altered the form bringing a spinal section down from the seat stay to provide some cross sectional support. The third bolt hole was removed to allow some extra carbon to take future force. Finally the Italian flag needed to be completely re done as it was partially chipped and needed a tidy up.
The original style and form of the frame was taken into account when making these alterations to make sure everything blends in with the original design. Last thing you want is an ugly bolt on to a bike like this!
