Carbon Bike Repair | 1997 Giant MCR Super Bike

The Giant MCR super bike was designed by the late Mike Burrows, and was based on the Lotus 110.

The UCI quickly tightened the rules after the 110, just before the release of the MCR, so it never made it into the peloton. Pretty cutting edge for it’s time though, with true monocoque construction and internal routing.

This one is in for a carbon repair of a fracture to the chainstay yoke and removal of a few paint chips.

We do like to keep frames like this alive.
