The carbon repair to this SystemSix was one of our more tricky ones.
A large percentage of the dropout was torn away from the frame when the rear mech failed.
In this case we opted to use an identical donor frame (which was in white) that had been previously written off. The idea being to swap the dropout section from the donor frame and graft it into our customers frame.
Jigging the frame correctly beforehand to ensure proper alignment is a critical part of getting this job done right.
